European Hurling and Camogie Finals 2011: Leuven, Belgium
posted on July 9th, 2011
On 23 July, Belgium GAA, the defending European Champions, will host the 2011 European Hurling and Camogie Finals.
Teams from all over Europe will descend on Belgium to compete for the Championship title, and you (yes, you!) are invited to come along. It doesn’t matter if you are a player, a coach, a cheerleader, a water boy, a first-aid person, a family member, a friend, a colleague, or just have an interest in seeing a European… display of the fastest field team game in the world. It’ll be a great day out!

At the moment, the skeleton schedule is shown on the poster:
09.30 - Tournament starts in the Catholic University of Leuven
18.00 - Games finish
19.00 - Retire to the comfortable surroundings of De Valera’s Irish Pub (Place Flagey, 1050 Brussels), sponsor of Belgium GAA, for a buffet meal, speeches, medals, trophies, song, dance and Vedett.
Undetermined Hour - Everyone goes home to bed.
More details will be added here as time goes by. For now, please sign up to attend.
Volunteers are always needed, so if you want to offer your services on the day, send Laura an email.
See you there!
